Been busy with my attachment which is a mad cycle of work, work and lets see...erm...work!
Anyway these thoughts were in my head these weeks..
Being a teacher is a lifetime profession. You'll still be a teacher even though you've resigned. Any idea why? Because you're still remembered by your students..your ex students..your ex students' parents..etc..
Being a teacher means ur subjected to public scrutiny. Imagine wanting to go out on a lazy Sunday afternoon with that slacks of yours. Imagine running into your students dressed the way you are..Sigh...This probably applies to Upper Primary when the students scrutinise the way you walk, dress and talk. But, then again..I just heard this from my P3 students few days back..
"Hey, you saw Ms Lee? Wah today she so pretty! Wear skirt leh.."
You see..they notice that this certain teacher always wears pants..kids ain dumb..we should give them more credit..Haha..
Haaha..so you know it ain easy being public figures..at least public figures to our kids. I know i still remember my Pri sch teacher. Saw her two yrs back..and wondered..my god..what happened to her? So tired and listless...I can just imagine my students thinking that of me, many long years after..Considering plastic surgery after quitting the profession..Haaha..
Well..back to work now..Will blog when I feel inspired..
